Job description

As a Junior Accountant at Avesta Holding your role will be supporting the financial health and growth of a rapidly expanding scale-up. This role involves managing core financial tasks, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and maintaining reliable financial reporting to help drive the company’s mission in the evolving battery market. Additionally, the Junior Accountant will contribute to client portfolio management and compliance with tax and social regulations, playing a vital role in scaling operations effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing the daily invoices and transactions and checking bank statements and bank transactions
  • Closing of the accounting period and ensure a correct recording
  • Manage a portfolio of client files, present the closed accounts, and provide management advice.
  • Prepare and execute legal tax and social declarations.
  • Verify and adjust cash and securities based on client requirements.
  • Monitor liquid assets and validate their reliability.
  • Code and enter invoices, bank statements, and supporting documents.
  • Perform reconciliation checks on bank accounts.
  • Verify and record company revenue (enter customer payments, prepare invoices, send reminders, etc.).
  • Define and monitor an organization’s budget.
  • Prepare the constitutive elements of wages, invoicing, preparing and executing payment orders.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field
  • Professional experience in accounting will be valued.
