Job description
A hybrid inverter is an all-in-one device that combines different renewable energy (PV, batteries, …) and grid power in a coordinated and efficient way. The inverter engineer will work on topology design, circuit design, functionality development, prototype, and test.
Your responsibilities:
- Work on inverter development, covering electrical circuit design, PCB design, components optimization, test, improvement …;
- Identify and locate new inverter requirements from customers;
- Propose, implement, and test solutions to satisfy new inverter requirements with good quality;
- Debug and fix issues occurring at stages of inverter development, production and maintenance;
Your profile:
- Strong willing and proactive attitude to take challenges related to inverter development for diverse scenarios, like domestic/industrial battery storage, and grid-forming inverters, …
- A master’s degree in electrical engineering, control engineering, or equivalent;
- 1 year experience in inverter development;
- Skills and knowledge in inverter circuit design, simulation, and test for different topologies (1 phase/3 phase, 2-level/multi-level);
- Skills and knowledge in embedded systems development, communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, TCP/IP, …), and component optimization;
- Skills and knowledge of PCB/EDA design (Altium is an asset) and development;
- Skills and knowledge of electrical installation and tests;
- Good communication skills, team player, self-motivated, ability to learn new technologies and knowledge.
