Job description
The BMS Software Engineer will design, develop, and deploy well-structured and performed programs to optimize the battery’s longevity, efficiency, and safety.
Your responsibilities:
- Work on software aspects of BMS, such as coding SOX algorithms, charging/discharging controls, protection strategy, communication protocol, testing and improving them, …;
- Identify and locate new BMS requirements from customers;
- Program and test required BMS functionalities with good quality;
- Debug and fix software issues from BMS development, production, and maintanance;
- Collaborate with other colleagues (BMS hardware engineers, mechanical engineers, thermal engineers, …) for creative product development.
Your profile:
- Strong willing and proactive attitude to take challenges related to BMS development for diverse applications, like EV, marine transportation, domestic/industrial battery storage, …;
- A master’s degree in electrical engineering, applied computer science, control engineering, or equivalent;
- 1 year experience in BMS development;
- Knowledge of related BMS algorithms, like SOX estimation, cell balancing, …;
- Skills and knowledge in C/C++, embedded systems programming (nxp is an asset), communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, TCP/IP, …);
- Good communication skills, team player, self-motivated, ability to learn new technologies and knowledge.
