Electrician

Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering (ABEE) offers an exciting job opportunity in battery research & development. We seek an experienced Electrician to work in our technical department.

You will help us in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

 

What you’ll do at ABEE

– Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment

– Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and malfunctions

– Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance

– Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations

– Collaborate with engineers and other team members to support project requirements

– Document all electrical work and maintain accurate records

 

Required qualifications

– Experience: 5-6 years of relevant experience as an electrician

– Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical diagrams

– Proficient in the use of electrical tools and testing equipment

– Certification or license in electrical work (mandatory)

– Fluent in English (French and/or Dutch is a plus)

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

– Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an interdisciplinary and international work environment
