Junior Accountant

Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering (ABEE) offers an exciting job opportunity in battery research & development. We seek a Junior Accountant to work in our financial department.

You will help us in the daily task to guarantee efficiency and continuity in the financial statements.

What you’ll do at ABEE

• Recording daily transactions and invoices
• Clear and reconcile banking transactions
• Support on the preparation of monthly and annual closings
• Have a big impact on the accounting, reporting, and budgeting process

Required Qualifications

• Experience: at least first experience in relevant accounting
• Good knowledge of Exact Online (is a plus)
• Feel confident working on your own and taking initiative.
• Fluent in English (French and/or Dutch is a plus)
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• French or Dutch is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Communicative skills in an interdisciplinary and international work environment
